My attorney just emailed me, she received receipt notices for 485, EAD and AP for both me and my wife.
My application was received on July 2nd 9:01 AM, if it matters it was signed by R Mickels
I have not seen the notices yet so I dont know what the notice dates are.

I had filed in Nebraska on Jul 31st. I called and got receipt numbers for all 3 of my cases.
My 140 was cleared in Texas but current numbers start with LIN.
All my receipt dates show September 10th when i check online.
Still havent received any update from my lawyers.
just a reminder that the rep knows exactly when it was received in the mail room. Some people had said that it might be ok to lie and say its past 90 days even if its not because they wont know when it was received in the mail room.

Hi All,
I have to do the landing before june, 2008.
I have already used AP to enter US after my last trip to India. So IO at POE canada will know that I have pending 485. don't know how to handle this situation.
I am planning to do the landing in last week of may via Niagra falls. (toronto)
anyone with similar status done landing please share your experience.

Mine delivered 9:00 AM via Fedex shipped on 6/30 lets see what others have i did it on saturday late evening.
What address did you use to send the I-485 using FedEx or UPS?I sent it to the PO Box address:

I did not know that FedEx/UPS could deliver to PO boxes and that you would have a person receiving and signing for it???

As soon as we have confirmation of date and time and location/route, I will send out newsletters to all CA, NV, AZ and OR members who wish to participate. This is going to be good.
Sure, I will join the tomorrows march organized by fightnow. Since it is short notice for many IV members there may not be many of us there, but please feel free to join if you can. There are lot of IV members in San Jose.

My I-485, I-140 and I-765 for my wife reached Nebraska on August 17th, exactly the last day, because I was in my home country and came back on August 15th.
Obviuosly, no receipt# yet.....I think I will wait a couple of months to get it.
Could anyone, please, tell me how much you paid for 2x I-485, I-140 and I-765 for my wife. Is the correct fee: 1165$ ?

Folks,
I got card production email on 19th night (20th) August... got approval email on 22nd . Received welcome notice physical mail on 25th August-- So far not received Green cards nor Approval notice. As per email received it says -- Approval was mailed on 22nd AUgust. Anybody in same boat ??

Previous years Oct Visa Bulletins doesn't look encouraging at all, EB-3 India moved by a week and other categories move by a month or 2. With USCIS taking huge no. of applications in june'07 the future of oct'07 seems to be pretty bleak, It is quiet depressing. We surely need this legislation of ability to file 485 even if visa dates not current.

I think IV core shud take the matter with USCIS or the concerned people.
This is really not fair at all. What is the point of the PD then and to top it of there is no one we could contact and have them listen to our concerns.

There is a 99% chance of a TV crew covering this event. I just spoke with them and they are just working out the logistics. They will reach the USCIS office at around 12 PM and said that it would be great if some of us are available around that time to talk to them.

Been in the US since 1998, have an EB-2 PD of 2001, have played by the rules all along. Still no GC... And, the dates are going back to 2000 from the new year.. I've lost hopes...
I'm pretty close to getting clinical depression because of this game played by USCIS, Labor Dept, FBI and my own bad luck.
SKILL bill, OMNIBUS, etc. comes and goes. IV does seem to be doing things to lobby for the community, but let's face one reality. Like a news article said, no one in congress or senate wants to touch immigration even with a long pole until 2009.
The US has been very good to me (other than the GC part), more than my home country (India) which is why I'm still here.
Have invested too much of time in this country to just pack up and go. Just curious if any of you feel this way? How do you handle such depressing feelings?
Another recommendation is if possible do a landmark forum course. Its a 3 day course but definitely worth doing especially it may help to handle depression of any kind. Its based on a technology and not everyone gets the same benefits. But it does provide you good insights and everyone gets benefited in some way or the other.

o I spoke to an IO at NSC around the last week of October and she told me she is going to schedule it, but was a little apprehensive as I trashed some mail without going through it properly (so that was my fault). My main intention on getting an infopass appointment was to make sure that I did not miss any scheduled appointment, which was confirmed by the IO.
o My case was recd. at NSC on 9/21 (Not sure when CSC transferred it). My Notice date is 9/10 if that helps.
o Not sure what you mean by "What is FP data?", did you mean "date" instead of "data" ? If so, I don't know. All she told me was I was in the queue, which I am assuming is their internal queue.
