I worked for a firm for last couple of years and then moved to another firm. Now I want to apply for a Perm process and need the Experience letter. My previous employer has issued me the experience letter without my roles and responsibility:
It was an unprotected word file, so I changed it and incorporated the roles and responsibilty and my self submitted it to my employer; Now i am afraid if they are going to verify it.
1. What is the INS verification process?
2. Do employer can verifty it by Fax?
3. What can happen if INS came to know that everything was fine except the roles and responsibilities was included afterwards?

I would have love to see a section to show that we are law-abiding and the contribution of our family to our community and the economy. For instance my son has graduated college and now working, paying taxes and contributing to the US economy. What your lawyer says in incorrect. I have had my visa stamped successfully only for 3 months validity in the past. Even this time I have only 2 months left (until Feb 2008) but am still going for stamping. So do not worry. As long as you have one more day left, you can get it stamped. Good luck.

Lets say my H1b renewal is pending..while its pending I used EAD for a diff company than my sponsoring company( I will be with my Sponsoring company but in bench). Then my H1b gets approved. Can I still work with a diff company till I choose to go out to stamp for H1b and once am in US i can start working for my sponsoring company again?

Coopheal, what was the filing date for your 485? I take that it went to NSC? I'm a mid July '07 filer and am hoping for LUD's since processing times are current for that month. Offcourse it would be preadjudication like yours since my PD is so far from being current. Luckily my 140 was approved last year prior to 485.

Hi Michael, nice shots. It's easy to see that you brought the discipline and hard work of your nature work to the studio. What was your lighting setup? Flash? strobes? How many and what positions? and how did you go about metering? They're very beautiful but just a little flat. Shadows add depth and will make the flowers pop out more. How's that for a vague concept? :) But if you have the ability to reposition the light(s) you should get some very different and interesting results. adjust to taste. shadows are good in many situations. I am not sure, if you can go in person to houston, mine was sent to washington dc and I got it in 10 days. I had tough time for a different case.
Try to avoid Houston, you will not get any response or anyhelp, I guess they are sleeping for ever.
We cannot get the passport renewed anywhere, if you are in south most probably you need to get it renewed from Houston. So any one ............who went in person for non-emergency case.

No members have written a tutorial for Flex as of yet. Kirupa has said it a thousand times there has to be valid tutorials for there to be a forum (a simple search would have shown this).
My suggestion write a few well written tutorials on flex specific topics and submit them to Kirupa.
Also Kirupa is a MS developer so its only inherent that he writes what he knows best... I don't think he really even uses Flash very much anymore, except when he wrote that tutorial about some of the new features.

I had got a similar enquiry from DOL couple of years back. They were explicit in asking about being paid while on bench. In my case I have had minimal bench time and hence answered accordingly. I am sure there must be other employees in my company (desi IT consulting) who are getting paid irregularly.
I do not think it will effect your new H1B decision. Bottom line is do not lie. If you don't want to tell the truth, don't reply to them.

When you import an Illustrator file into Expression Blend, Illustrator layers, groups, and objects are converted to Expression Blend containers and objects with associated properties. When you save your file in Illustrator, make sure that the Create PDF Compatible File check box is selected in the Illustrator Options dialog box. Otherwise, you will not be able to import your Illustrator files into Expression Blend.

I am in a similar situation...filed for AP in June...mine got approved...wife's AP has not gotten approved yet....planning to travel in early December.
I tried expediting for financial loss and got email saying that is not enough reason....
I am thinking of refiling my wife's I131 and paying the extra $300...now. What do you guys think...is there a chance of approval before end of November or is it a lost cause...

Here is my prediction.
With July Fiasco INS has learnt their lessons.
They have potential to process and approve 40K cases in one month.
Once all receipting is done by Sept 17th for all late Aug 17th filers, they will immediately start processing all oct 08 current cases.
I think they might even issue again 40K cases in october ?

Finger-printing and namecheck are not connected. Namecheck is triggered as soon as receipt is generated. Fingerprinting is separete. The two are not going to affect each other. The only thing is fingerprinting results are out in about a minute or two, namecheck can take anywhere from 2 minutes to 20 years.
you can expect faster processing times for those categories who tend to be current for most bulletins. Which is EB1 and ROW EB2. Everyone else who is current every once in blue moon is not going to get processed quickly.
The only guarantee is that they wont waste the visa numbers this year or next year, coz they did that last year and wasted 10,000 visa numbers and got unpleasant treatment for that.
With July Fiasco INS has learnt their lessons.
They have potential to process and approve 40K cases in one month.
Once all receipting is done by Sept 17th for all late Aug 17th filers, they will immediately start processing all oct 08 current cases.
I think they might even issue again 40K cases in october ?

As you mentioned i kept checking the chennai consulate, and it opened up like a blessing in disguise, with slots again and i was able to get my dates .Only problem was it forced me to cancel my earlier appointment and redo all the application again .That was because i had booked an appointment with Mumbai consulate in distress of not finding any with chennai .

Extremely sorry to hear this.I must be v stressful for both of you and your near ones too. Take help from professional conselling. Talk to friends and family. whatever you do, think v v v hard about it. let your spouse know about your feelings.
